Evaluation questions 1 & 2

1) In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
There are a number of various ways on how our movie can be similar/compared to the movie 'Phone Booth' in the image above there is a still shot of the main character (colin farrell) who is wearing a smart shirt similar to the smart shirt that was used in our movie (ransom) here we also see the resemblence in camera shots with ours as there is a close up of him in the phone booth which is also a visible similarity. Through these images we can see how our movie challenges the forms and conventions of real media.

2) How does your media product represent particular social groups?
This shot just above shows the similarity with the dress code as in this movie he is wearing a suit and smart suit same with the dress code that we decided to use. The difference in this image with our movie is that in the 'phone booth' clip above, the facials are very different in this image he looks confident compared to our movie clip where the main person looks worried. Through these images we can see that media is portraying the business like social group and parents social group.

This still image of a clip in the 'Phone Booth' movie shows a similar emotion of that in our movie which is distress here you can see the similarities in these visual still pictures.
